Currently Seeking

Part of the fun of retro computing is the hunt. This page is a running list of vintage computers, classic gaming items, software, manuals, accessories, and restoration pieces I am currently looking for.

Greetings Programs!

Geek With Social Skills is always keeping an eye out for interesting retro tech, vintage computers, classic gaming hardware, original accessories, software, manuals, and oddball pieces of computing history.

This want list is not meant to be a store or a formal buying page. It is simply a collector-style list of things I am currently looking for, hoping to document, restore, preserve, or feature in future videos.

If you have something on this list, know where one might be hiding, or have a lead on a good example, feel free to reach out through the contact page.

Most Wanted

These are the items that are currently near the top of the list. Condition does not always need to be perfect, especially for items that could make interesting repair, restoration, or preservation projects.

Vintage Computers and Hardware

I am especially interested in systems and hardware that tell a good story, show off a specific era, or could be used in a future video about classic computing history.

Software, Manuals, and Media

Original software, printed manuals, reference cards, catalogs, disks, tapes, and documentation are all part of the history. Even small paper items can help tell the story of how these machines were actually used.

Classic Gaming and Accessories

The channel also covers classic gaming systems, handhelds, cartridges, controllers, and accessories from the early days of home video games through the more modern retro era.

Have a Lead?

If you have something that fits the Geek With Social Skills retro tech universe, feel free to send a message through the contact page. I am especially interested in items with a story, items that need light restoration, and pieces that would make useful or entertaining video subjects.
