Atari 2600

The original Atari Inc. was founded in 1972 by Nolan Bushnell and Ted Dabney.

Atari Logo

Atari was a pioneer in arcade games, home video game consoles and home computers from the 1970’s to the mid 1980’s.

This page is dedicated to my personal retro Atari collection of consoles and classic games. Enjoy.

My Atari Consoles:

I’ve been a fan of Atari since the day my grandparents purchased an Atari 2600 back in 1977.

Below are the Atari consoles that I own. Simply click on each console name for pictures and detailed information about each game system.

  • Atari 2600 Heavy Sixer – Production week 26 from 1977
  • Sears Tele-Games Video Arcade Heavy Sixer – 1977
  • Atari Flashback 2 – 2005

My Atari 2600 Game Collection:

I currently own around 250+ Atari 2600 cartridges and a few of them are complete in the box but most are loose with instruction manuals.

Along with officially released Atari 2600 games, I also own some prototype, reproduction cartridges and homebrew games. Take a look:

I’ll keep adding more detailed information on my Atari collection as time permits. As the saying goes: “The shoe makers kids have no shoes.”
